The ongoing Covid-19 lockdowns have made the shift from traditional to decentralized clinical trials more of a priority than it’s ever been. Even counting out the challenges presented by a stay-at-home policy that is not universally adopted by all countries across the globe, the thread of the virus itself presents the imperative of protecting patients from potential exposure.
Adapting to the new normal means that clinical research needs to implement decentralized trial modalities, and quickly. From e-Consent forms to remote patient monitoring, technology will continue to support this process, and our team at TrialHub will continue to support CROs at the planning stage by providing and expanding the database of decentralized clinical trials.
Of course, finding vendors and staying on-budget are big question marks still. There is one question, however, that needs answering as well:
How can research sites win with decentralized trials?
On the 5th of February 2021 industry experts come together to share their collective reflection on decentralized trial modalities and the role they will play in securing the advancement of tomorrow’s research.
You can join the conversation and submit questions of your own by the 3rd of February here.
The webinar will cover topics across the lifecycle of a remote clinical trial from effective feasibility and planning to patient recruitment, regulatory compliance, and continuity of operations.
The panelists include Raymond Nomizu from Clinical Research IO, a site-centered electronic Source and CTMS solution; Edye T. Edens, Senior Research Compliance Consultant at First Class Solutions; Daniel Perez, Chief Operating Officer at MACRO Trials – a Site Optimization Organization (SOO); and TrialHub’s CEO Maya Zlatanova.

Don’t forget to submit your questions about decentralized trials and the role sites play in decentralized research before the 3rd of February.
